Leanne,

I have added your photo to the Apprentice college Album. I wasn't exactly shocked. I was just suprised that I had not heard it anywhere else before. I am all for equal oppertunities. It will be good when it happens!!!!

Now can anyone tell me what year we had female appretices for the first time. Fill in a wee bit more of my missing information.

Yup, THATS how to have a homecoming parade, estimated 30,000 well-wishers there! Just goes to show, the voice of the majority will be heard and will reign supreme. Bet you dont see that anywhere else in the UK! More's the pity, there is little enough support for our forces and their superb efforts.

Gentlemen
I have read the views posted on the site re the "welcome home" parade in Belfast today. I hope those who could attend felt proud to honour those young people who risked their lives in defending democracy, free speech, and human rights. Something that should never be taken for granted, no matter what terrorist organiation tries to high-jack them in pursuite of their own political aims usually at the point of a gun. Giving way to them on any count will be an indication of weakness that would inevitabley lead to them achieving their aims. Republican extremists are again attacking the Police Service in Northern Ireland although it does not make the headlines over here very often! Lets stay friends and respect each others views.

I don't really want ot stop the site at all, but what i would like is there to be someone else who is younger than me who has some knowledge of webites who would be prepared to take on the site I'll be the helper.

As some of you are aware i suffered a series of TIAs last year. This has slowed me down considerably. It now takes up so much of my time because I cannot think so clearly.

HI BRIAN I think once they start arguing about N IRELAND it should be shut down and they should be told to get a life as it is in the past and best left there , I was there for more than there 3 month stint and both sides were as bad as each other , move on lads , it's time to grow up and live a life .
ALL THE BEST BRIAN , and keep smiling.

Without perpetuating any more arguing, i must appraise Bill logan that Ian Millar is one of the finest men i have known (those that have impressed me can be counted on one hand)He would always have the Big picture in mind... Sinn fein and those akin to the way they operate are not fit to be called soldiers, a soldier identifies himself and has honour they are most certainly without honour, if sinn fein honoured their dead they would be allowed to without interference so let all soldiers of the UK from whatever conflict be honoured , i for one will always spare a thought for them all of those who would go where politicians fear to tread regards all Brian stay positive this is healthy debate and only shows how much support we all have for our boys and girls ....lol
